Who Says Asians Can't Be Blonde?

The answer to that is a lot of people. Is is justified in any way? Yes and no. It's true that a lot of Asians could never look decent in golden locks, but that does not apply to only one ethnicity. There are plenty of non-Asians who could never pull off blonde hair either. That being said, there are of course some Kpop idols who, too, don't look that great with bleached dos, but there are also those who look like they could have been born with it. Or maybe it's just Maybelline.

By the way, I think CL looks great with blonde hair too, but there actually are a few that look even better.

After School's Nana & Lizzy

Not much to say here really. The "Flashback" era was just all kinds of flawless.

SHINee's Jonghyun

Whoever came up with this idea, THANK YOU.

AOA's Yuna & Choa

These two are just so, so pretty. Choa always rocked her blonde hair but Yuna dyed it not to long ago, and I was taken back by how great it looked on her.

EXO's Kris

Okay, maybe Kris is just really, really handsome no matter his hairstyle, but there's just something about the blonde color that makes him look even more attractive.

Kara's Gyuri

A true Goddess indeed.

Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon & Taeyeon

Hyoyeon looks her absolute best with that shade of blonde, the one she had for their 2011 promotions, and Taeyeon looks so much younger and brighter with a lighter color.

Well, as you can see there are quite a few more ladies who rock the blonde than there are guys, but that's just my personal opinion. I have to say though, there are plenty more who look great as blondes, but look equally as good or even better with another haircolor. There are also some borderline cases with idols who have a light brown color, but not exactly blonde per say, so I decided not to include them here. It's quite funny how many of them do not look their best in their natural, black color, as you might initially believe.
Let's all raise our glasses for the world-changing wonder of bleach and hair dye!
