The January Teasing Continues

BekMusNCUAEYysI

Is it just me or does it feel like everyone is coming back in either the last week of January or in February? There's already been tons of comebacks only the last month, with big acts such as Girl's Day, TVXQ, Rain, Ailee, B1A4 among many, and it seems it won't stop anytime soon. Maybe it's just because the whole field is so overpopulated right now that it seems like there's always someone releasing new material, but what feels like everyday has there been news announcing comebacks of groups and solo artists.

First off, there's BAP coming back with their first full album and title track 1004(Angel), and I'm so excited. They are great performers and has released some great material since their debut two years ago, and it looks like they are going for a softer, more emotional type of sound this time around.

BAP has made themselves know as the "comeback" idols, for having I think 4 or 5 comebacks during their debut year, and while it could have worked as a great strategy for keeping the hype and interest alive, it seems it have worked more against them in the long run. Their debut was amazing, no question about it, but they've sort of fallen off the radar a bit. All I can do now is pray to the kpop Gods that TS doesn't screw this up.

Brown Eyed Girl Gain always starts a riot whenever she puts out something, and with good reason. This well experienced artist pushes the boundaries of sexuality and sensuality and takes full control of her own in a very impressive way. This girl knows what she's doing and isn't afraid to show it.
I absolutely love the name of the title track; Fxxk You. Like, how awesome isn't that? And she actually says it out loud in this somewhat creepy video teaser as well. Yeah, it's going to get banned for sure.

Can I just say how much I already love this? The retro sound and styling is spot on, and Bohyung is just slaying on the vocals. Sunbae and mentor Lee Hyori had a big hand in composing and producing this song, and I hope it will get them some well deserved attention. Spica just has so much talent, a rare occurrence in this industry, and I want to see them get recognized and acknowledged for it.

February also holds a lot in store for us, such as Winner's debut, BTS' comeback and a rumoured Girl's Generation comeback. Oh, and YG claims to have basically all their acts releasing stuff next month, but I remain skeptical of this because, well, it's YG we're talking about.
